Your Claude Code can pay for itself.

you get paid for the time you spend waiting on Claude to respond. its thinking line turns into a tiny ad, and you earn from it directly, keeping up to 100% of what the advertiser pays as a founding member.

you just need to paste this:curl -fsSL https://wait.money/install.sh | sh

faq

how does the money work?
advertisers bid for the line. impressions are verified server-side while Claude is actually working, and you accrue a share of the cleared revenue. your balance ticks live in the status line. full numbers in the docs.
does it read my code or prompts?
no. structurally it cannot: the telemetry schema has no field that could carry code, prompts, file paths, or AI responses, and the server rejects unknown fields. details in the privacy policy.
when can I cash out?
payouts open at the launch threshold. minimum $5, a quick identity check first (anti-fraud), gift cards then cash. balances accrue now and stay attached to your account.
which terminals work?
any terminal Claude Code runs in: the VS Code and Cursor terminals, Ghostty, iTerm, Zed, plain SSH. macOS and Linux today, Windows in beta.
why is part of my balance "held"?
credits clear once your account looks human: sign in with Google and use Claude normally. low-trust signals (data center IPs, many accounts on one machine) hold credits until review.
can I turn it off?
waitmoney pause for a break, waitmoney uninstall to remove everything. your settings are restored byte-exact.
I'm an advertiser. what do I pay for?
only fraud-filtered, verified impressions. the top bid takes the most impressions. start at /advertise.
